Step 2- What’s an MSDS:
A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is prepared by the manufacturer of a product for the purpose of providing information on the safe use, handling and potential hazards of a product. This information assists with the proper response in the event of an emergency.
A. Please go to this link and look at an MSDS for WD-40 (scroll through the different sections and note the imformation that can be found on and MSDS. WD-40 MSDS
B. Proceed to Step 3
Step 3. HAZCOM Module and Quiz
Click on this link: HAZCOM Module - start with the introdution section and work your way to the quiz section. When you take the test please fill in your name as requested and in the block labeled: send test to- enter kcarabajal@cnm.edu
Your test will be scored and the results forwarded to the Organizational Learning Office
NOTE-please print a copy of the completed and scored test for your records!
