DHS Announces New I-9 Form

On July 21, 2023, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that on August 1 the USCIS Will Publish a Revised Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. “The newly updated Form I-9 contains myriad revisions to the form and its instructions to streamline these materials and reduce employer and employee burden associated with the form,” the federal agency said in a notice published on the Federal Register.
